NURSES DAY OBSERVED

About 300 students of JSS Nursing College and the Department of Nursing Services, JSS Hospital here jointly observed the World Health Day and International Nurses Day in Rajendra Auditorium, JSS Hospital premises today.

Dr. Basavana Gowda, Professor of Medicine, JSS Hospital, in his keynote address argued that nursing services critically depended on adequate staffing and their gentleness in addition to quality ICU care. The theme was 'Safe Staffing Saves Lives'.

Dr. K. Ragothama Rao, Principal, JSS Medical College inaugurated. Dr. Guruswamy, Deputy Medical Superintendent was the guest of honour. Gayathramma, Nursing Superintendent welcomed.
