DSS protests at K R Hospital

About 40 members of Dalit Sangharsha Samithi (DSS) began an indefinite protest in front of the KR Hospital Medical Superintendent's office this morning to pressing their demands that included supply of adequate medicines and appropriate equipment apart from setting right the hospital's management.

They also accused an Ortho-paedic surgeon of malpractice and demanded action against him. They also sought recovery of medical expenses of Kariankaiah, Sunil and Nagaraja Nayaka from the doctor, alleging harming them with his wrong treatment. Bettaiah Kote led the stir.
